Twin Cities Registered nurses for Disabled Clients
Home Health Care provides registered nurse (RN) services for disabled clients in the Twin Cities metropolitan area of Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minnesota.
Services provide by our Twin Cities registered nurses include patient assessments, implementing a personalized care plan, providing injections, caring for wounds, giving intravenous therapy and administering complex medications. In addition to these specific tasks, a registered nurse in the Twin Cities serves as the linchpin of the disabled client’s home care medical team, including working closely with the client’s physician. Another facet of this linchpin role is directing other members of the home care team, a role referred to as case management.
The Home Health Care RN caregiver is also skilled in educating the client, family members and other caregivers in how best to care for the patient, manage the illnesses or injuries, and prevent further illness or injury. Our Minneapolis / St. Paul home care RN caregivers are “at home” in clients’ homes, and they provide or help arrange for the tools necessary to provide comprehensive care in the home setting.
Our St. Paul / Minneapolis registered nurses are well versed in the needs and care of disabled individuals. In addition to their high level of professional expertise, registered nurses who work with Home Health Care are selected for their people skills, including compassion and empathy, which is very important for working with this unique population.
Medicare, Medicaid and other insurances generally cover the services of registered nurses for disabled clients in a Twin Cities home care environment. Clients and their family members also may opt to pay for supplemental nursing care with our private pay option.
Our Twin Cities registered nurses graduate from accredited academic institutions with at least a bachelor’s degree and often a master’s or higher degree. They also must pass a licensing examination and meet Minnesota state requirements for nursing professionals.
Home Health Care conducts rigorous background and work history checks of our Twin Cities home care RN staff members, including registered nurses. Our goal is for clients to be completely comfortable with every Twin Cities Home Health Care RN and staff member.
