Home Health Care, Inc. is committed to community outreach, education, and programming. Our professional staff works with many different groups: both client and professionally based throughout the Twin Cities. We take pride in offering educational opportunities right here at our Golden Valley headquarters. We have classrooms equipped for in-service training sessions, classes, speakers, and conferences. We also participate in education and speaking in the communities. Most importantly, we work together with many current and former clients on programs that improve both the community and the wellbeing of current and future clients.
The following are some of the programs we have developed and offer on a regular basis:
- Client Outreach Services. Home Health Care, Inc. enjoys working with clients even after we complete home care services. We improve our community by working with former clients in many different ways. For instance, we recently hired Nick, a former client, as a customer service representative. Nick spoke with many clients and their families, and contributed positively to their lives by helping complete the circle of care.

Health Fairs. The spring 2010 health fair was co-sponsored with Fishman’s Kosher Market in St. Louis Park. We offered a wide variety of Home Health Care components including: foot care, blood pressure checks, nutrition education, diabetes education, dermatology information, skin care and safety tied in with the City Services of St. Louis Park. Free goodies and raffled gift cards were part of the health fair. These programs and treats were all complimentary. Our next fair is scheduled for September, 2010.

- In-service Training Sessions or Conferences. We invite professionals in various fields involving home health care to a luncheon seminar format. Most luncheons include CEU credits and are highly attended. This coming summer we will host an event involving Social Workers. - Special Luncheon Speakers. The May, 2010 speaker was Dr. John Brose, Ph. D on the subject of, Reducing Colleague Tension in the Workplace. The speaker’s national recognition for his work was inviting to our colleaguial audience. CEUs were offered. Future speaker luncheons of this nature will be announced soon.
- Educational Programs in Facilities. Our staff frequently visits with community members everyday. We offer a complimentary educational health seminar during our visits to nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, and other locations when requested. Current programs include “Understanding Your Medicare Home Care Benefits,” “Healthy Aging and Loving It,” and “Aging in Place: New Trends.”
- Insurance Solutions. In our ever changing health care world health insurance becomes a daily subject of explanation and change. Home Health Care employs trained Insurance Solutions Specialists to help educate and aid you in navigating the health care world of insurance free of charge.
